Jack climbing a magic bean vine toward a cloud castle

In the Magic Bean world, every little discovery matters

Turn growing up into
a story that blooms

Give the Bean Sprout a photo, a video, or one quick note. It helps you shape the moment into a story you and your child can revisit together — and gently suggests what to say or do next.

Today, they packed their school bag alone

Tired after school, but proud to show off a neatly packed bag…

WHY KEEP A JOURNAL

Growing up keeps happening,
while life gets louder

Magic Bean Journal is for parents who capture a lot, want to remember it, and rarely have the time to turn it into something they can revisit. You do not need a perfect habit. Just leave the small moments you want to keep.

Moments are everywhere

Photos live in your camera roll, family chats, and cloud drives. The one moment you want is never in one place.

There is no energy to sort them

You captured the day. By bedtime, you only want to rest. Another week passes and the story is still unwritten.

You can feel change, but not name it

You sense new confidence or curiosity, but it is hard to remember when the change first appeared.

HOW THE VINE GROWS

Three steps from a moment to a timeline

We hide the busy work and leave the meaningful decisions with you.

Plant a quick note

Choose a child and a date, add a photo, a short video, or a plain-language note. No forms. No streaks.

Let the Sprout shape it

AI creates a warm draft while keeping your original note separate from its gentle observations.

Look back from the clouds

Browse by date, mood, or theme so the next conversation starts with a real clue, not a vague feeling.

☁ A timeline that lasts

ONE VINE, TWO VIEWS

Room for children to explore.
Clarity for parents to notice.

Magic Bean does not turn a child into a report. It helps parents notice the details worth responding to.

For children · growth they can feel

They see
“I did these things.”

Children see only the stories a parent has reviewed: what they tried, what they enjoyed, and the moments worth telling again.

  • ✓ Warm, specific growth cards
  • ✓ No rankings or labels
  • ✓ AI judgments stay away from the child

MADE FOR REAL LIFE

Make “I want to remember this”
an action you can finish today

A one-minute note is enough. AI helps with the shape, but never decides what deserves to stay.

PRIVACY IS PART OF THE STORY

Gentle with children.
Serious about data.

Growth records belong to your family. From day one, Magic Bean puts parent review, access, export, and deletion in front of the AI.

AI offers organization and conversation clues. It does not replace a doctor, therapist, or other qualified professional.

01Private by default

Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it.

02No training on family data

Children’s photos, videos, and stories are not public examples.

03Export and delete anytime

Manage source media, AI drafts, and memory summaries.

04Parent review comes first

AI output stays a draft until a parent approves it.

WHY WE ARE MAKING THIS

“I just want to help keep the moments we might forget.”

We are parents who wanted to record more and were repeatedly outpaced by ordinary life. Magic Bean Journal is not another tool asking you to keep up. It is a quiet place to put the growth you have time to notice.

QUESTIONS FROM PARENTS

Before you plant the first bean

Entries are private by default. We do not read your whole camera roll or collect location by default. Children’s photos, videos, and growth records are not used for model training or public examples. You can export or delete them anytime.

No. AI is limited to organizing records and offering conversation clues. It does not diagnose, label, or infer a child’s personality from a single photo. Every AI output remains a draft for parent review.

The first version is parent-led. Children can simply read the stories a parent has approved. They do not need to create an account or receive direct AI judgments.

Your source entry stays separate from the AI step. Even if a request times out or the network drops, your photos, videos, and notes remain available to try again.

We are starting with a mobile-first web / PWA experience and will validate the record–shape–revisit loop before deciding whether a native app is needed.
